Mona Lisa Touch
The Mona Lisa Touch is a CO2 laser used to treat the symptoms of vaginal irritation, dryness, and painful intercourse related to menopause. It is an in-office therapy that involves three, 5 minutes treatments 6 weeks apart and requires no anesthesia or downtime. It is a painless procedure, hormone-free, and allows patients to resume intercourse in 2-3 days.

Essure
Essure is a permanent birth control procedure. This procedure may be performed in our office. It offers permanent birth control without incision, or general anesthesia.

In this procedure, small flexible inserts are placed into the fallopian tubes through the vagina and cervix with the use of a hysteroscope. After a confirmation test at three months, the Essure is 99.8% effective.

Long Term Reversible Birth Control
We offer multiple reversible long term birth control methods including implantation and intra uterine systems (IUS).
  • Nexplanon - An hormone-replacing contraception implant that is placed under the skin.
  • Mirena (IUS) - An implantable progestin containing IUS effective as contraception for 5 years.
  • Paragard (IUS) - A cooper IUS effective as contraception for 10 years.
  • Skyla - An implantable progestin containing IUS effective as contraception.

Endometrial Ablation
Endometrial Ablation is the surgical destruction of the endometrial uterine layer. Ablation may be done using heat, freezing, laser or electrosurgical methods. It is a type of treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding, due to benign conditions. Prior to the procedure testing may include hysteroscopy, ultrasound and endometrial biopsy. Thermal ablation may be done comfortably in our office with a paracervical block and sedation.

Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy is the use of a small, slender, light-transmitting telescope, or hysteroscope to view the inside of the uterus. This procedure is used in evaluation of abnormal uterine bleeding and in the removal of polyps, some fibroids and a uterine septum.

LEEP
Loop Electrosurgial Excision Procedure (LEEP) uses a low voltage electrical current to remove abnormal tissues of the cervix, previously identified by colposcopy and/or biopsy of the cervix. LEEP is an in-office procedure using local anesthetic cervical block.

Laparoscopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy (LAVH)
LAVH is the laparoscopic detachment of the upper structures and ligaments to enable the surgeon to detach the uterus and/or tubes and ovaries and remove them vaginally.

Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH)
TLH is the laparoscopic removal of the uterus and cervix and closure of the vagina laparoscopically.

Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy (LSH)
LSH is the removal of the body of the uterus using the laparoscope. The cervix is left intact, which may aid in vaginal support and improve sexual function.

Robotic Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy
Robotic TLH is the removal of the uterus and/or tubes and ovaries using a breakthrough surgical platform allowing the surgeon to operating 3D, giving improved precision, dexterity and control.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse Surgeries
Pelvic prolapse includes cystocole, rectocele, enterocele, uterine prolapse, and vaginal vault prolapse. Repair of pelvic prolapse may be vaginal, abdominal, or laparoscopic. Surgical repairs may use mesh, suspension from intact ligaments, or repair of displaced or damaged tissues.
